A post! Wow...it has been ages since I have updated the journal.

Too busy and tired...
Lately I'm wondering how am I suppose to do everything I would like to...
If I do all I want to in the lab, then I come home cook dinner and collapse. And mentally complain that I haven't time to read books or newspapers or keep up with my shows.
And if I come home at a decent hour, then I feel guilty for all the things I could have been doing at the university...Sigh.
Is there a solution? I mean beside the obvious do-not-sleep one...Sigh

Moving to happier things...I revamped my icons! Felt like changing. :)

And now...to bed.
Sweet dreams everyone.

Tired. Working a lot. Which is good, I am happy. But tired.

My adored Powerbook died on me a couple of weeks ago. Sigh...All my photos and files...There seems to be noone here that deals with Macs in the vicinity...Hopefully when I go home on Christmas, they 'll be able to retrieve the stuff on the hard disk. Hopefully....
Luckily the work stuff was also on the Uni computer. Still. It really sucks.
I'm using the uni computer now, which is a laptop. Windows OS...

Weekend programs:
- a nice conforference on evolutionism and intelligent design tomorrow
- indoor climbing on sunday
- working on my presentation for next week

Saturday I met my parents in Edinburgh.

The city was beautiful, unfortunately I cannot same the same for the weather. Got totally drenched...Ah well, I guess I should get used to it.

I bought this silly little magnet. It made me giggle out load when I saw it! :)

Meme
I've been tagged by [info]hoperomantic:

I must:
1- List seven weird/quirky habits about myself
2 - Tag seven people to do the same
3 - not just say "whoever wants to do it" or refuse to tag people

Quirky x 7 )

I'm just going to ignore the third point of the meme. No tagging, just do it if you feel like it.

I'm moving tomorrow. I can't believe how quickly this day has arrived.

I've sent by FedEx two big packages full of clothes, shoes, books etc...36 kg in total (almost 80 pounds). Plus the suitcase I'm taking with me tomorrow, of course. That one is another 22 kg (another 45 pounds). And the hand luggage.
It's funny, all the stuff I'm taking equals my weigh!

In honor of the Big Move I've changed my layout. Simple and black. I like it.
Now I need a header, possibly a Farscape one.*ponders*

Found a title for the lj. And a subtitle too! *grins*

I thought I'd share the source material.

I have no Life but this -
To lead it here -
Nor any Death - but lest
Dispelled from there -

Nor tie to Earths to come -
Nor Action new -
Except through this extent -
The Realm of you -

Emily Dickinson

Mnemosyne is a notoriously fickle archivist. She stores selectively, catalogs capriciously, retrieves inconsistently. She serves facts and fiction side by side, and the unwary patron is often handed both in a stack of unbound and sometimes shuffled sheaves.
